The country celebrates Hindi Diwas on September 14th. Also known as National Hindi Day, it is going to celebrated annually on September 14th across the country to spread the Hindi language importance. 

 On this same day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly adopted Hindi in Devanagari  as the official language of India.  World Hindi Day also celebrated every  year  on 10th January every year. 

 This day is celebrated by holding Hindi essay contests, Hindi debates and other events in schools, colleges and all educational institutions.

Government also conduct special programs to make aware and importance of the language.

Specially in schools there will be multiple competition are going to conduct like eassy writing, speech, poster creation and drawing competitions etc,.
